Ringing in the new year

The boys are excited for everything 2009 has in store (well, Quinn is excited even though he isn't wearing his excitement in the photo)--new babies and friends for them, a wedding, time with friends and family, and just having fun being brothers.

Just because I like these ones...

Here are a few others from the break that I just kind of liked.

Lots of time with the grandparents

The Christmas break brought lots of time with the boys' grandparents.

First Grandma Trudi arrived with Aunt Alyssa.

Then we hung out with Grandma Jan and Grandpa Chuck (and their cousins).

And then Grandpa Tom and Grammy Debbie arrived the day after Christmas.

The boys loved every moment of their time with their grandparents.

3 months and 18 months

Christmas also happened to be Liam's 3-month birthday and Quinn's 18-month birthday. They're getting so big!

And, yes, I'm going to save the hat picture for when they start dating or start therapy...whichever comes first.

Christmas funness

Has it really been almost a month since I posted last? Wow...I'm awful. We've been crazy busy the last few weeks and are finally getting a few minutes to ourselves again. Both babies are sleeping at the moment...ahhhh. Peace.

So, the first of our posts will be Christmas morning. Liam, of course, isn't so much aware of Christmas. Quinn wasn't into opening presents either but loved everything he got. Santa/mommy/daddy didn't buy so much because we figured all of the grandmas and grandpas would buy enough for two little ones under 18 months.

One present we did buy was a sports slide, and Quinn LOVED it as soon as he came down the stairs.

Liam also got a few presents of his own...everything he has can't be hand-me-downs.

It was a fun morning, and we were excited to have Grandma Trudi and Aunt Alyssa with us too.
