Quinn turns 2 months

Okay...really two months and one day (for the photo). He's grown a bunch more over the last month. It really is amazing.

A special shout out to Aunt Marge for the quilt he's laying on. We love it!

The meet Quinn party

Since we don't get home to PA so much, we thought that this was the best way for everyone to meet Quinn at once. He got to meet a bunch of relatives and a few friends all in one day. And he got some super fun presents too.

Please check out what Quinn's proud grandpa sported for the party...

And some other pictures from the party...Quinn with our cousin Karli, with his two aunts, with Jaime and Randy (congrats on the engagement!), and with grandpa and grammy.

Quinn goes shopping

Quinn would have probably picked some other activity for his Friday afternoon, but Grammy and I made him go shopping instead. Although Quinn slept through hours of deciding which Vera Bradley purses to buy, he, of course, did not go home empty handed. A fun hat, a few outfits, and a Taggies blanket later, the shopping finally ends.

Quinn's tries out his new Taggies blankie during his nap the next day. Grammy swears that he held it on his own, but I think she secretly put the little tag in his hand!

Meeting some family

Quinn met his aunt Jaime shortly after his arrival in Brockway. Lucky for us, she had the touch when it came to putting Quinn to sleep (you'll notice that he's sleeping in all of the pictures with Jaime!).

Then Quinn met his great grandparents NaNa and PaPa and Nana and Pop-Pop.

Here's Quinn with NaNa and PaPa at the party.

And then there's Quinn hanging out with Nana. Lucky for Quinn he got to spend some time on Nana's lap because soon after she had to go to the hospital. Feel better soon Nana!

Quinn visits the Keystone State

Last week Quinn took his first trip to Brockway. It was a busy vacation, but Quinn seemed to enjoy every minute of it. He met loads of family and friends and even slept on his own during the night (now that he's home...not so much).

He made appearances at Dr. Schlemmer's office and W & W Equipment to meet everyone, and he visited with three of his grandparents, both aunts, Jenn and Bill, Lore, his great grandparents, cousin Craig, and everyone at the meet Quinn party.

One of Quinn's favorite part of the trip was his 5 a.m. visits to the deck. Here he is chillin' with Grandpa and Grammy. Britney had to get in on the action too.

I'll break up the photos into a few posts so they don't get all messy.

New pictures from the last few weeks

I'm sorry...the posts have been far and few between recently. So I just downloaded a bunch of photos from the camera to share.

First we have Quinn chillin' on his changing table with a few of his favorite toys. I think I was attempting to catch a smile on camera here.

Then we have another attempt to catch a smile--this one worked a bit better but still isn't great. I think Quinn isn't a huge fan of the camera.

And here is Quinn's first real nap in the bed. Wahoo! Unfortunately it was the same time as our friend Lauren came to meet him (sorry Lauren--come back soon!). Length of nap: 1.5 hours.

Finally we have Quinn hanging out on his boppy. Check out his stylish Nike outfit (thanks Kim!).

I can't believe how big he is already!

First non-grandma babysitters

While mommy went to get her hair trimmed and dyed (yeah! first time since getting pregnant! dyed that is...I did cut my hair over the last 9 months) Quinn experienced his first outing to Aunt Jenn and Uncle Jim's house without his parents. I heard some tears over the phone but arrived two hours later to a sleeping Quinn (who started crying as soon as I picked him up). Hopefully he made Jenn and Jim excited for their own bundles of joy in the future...they did a great job!

I'll try to post photos tomorrow...I just found out my camera battery is dead.

Video!

I don't see any way to upload video to blogger, so I threw it onto YouTube. Poor Quinn.

Anyway, you can watch him beginning to play here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMWYQ8PNwiQ

Now that I figured that out, I'll record a better video next time. Ha!

Current playdate...future girlfriend?

Here's Quinn on a playdate with his friend Corina. Okay...maybe they are a little too young to play, but at least their mommies can have a grownup conversation. Thanks for the photo Jen!
