Well, we survived the first day and first week of pre-school. It was a little hairy at times, but Quinn seemed to enjoy what he was doing and learning in his class. The biggest issue was the new, no napping schedule. By Friday he was begging to take a nap. :)
He also was not a fan of his big boy backpack (you can kind of guess that from the pictures), but he learned to deal with it by wearing in the front instead of on his back. Whatever works, dude. And he's recently developed a hatred for shoes and socks, but his teachers seemed to have convinced him to leave them on after the first day.
It also helped a ton that their theme for the first week focused on trains, which is the current obsession in our house. Nemo and Cars are old news. Thomas IS in...in a big way. We read about, watch and play with trains most of the day. Could be worse.
Keeping our fingers crossed for an equally good second week!
